14. What is our H.O.P.P., or Home Owner's Protection Policy?
This policy is an annual policy against drywood and subterranean termites, fungus, and dry rot on the property under policy.
It covers any chemical treatment needed to keep the property under control against drywood, subterranean, fungus, and dry rot.
To be covered under this Policy, the property will need a complete inspection by one of our inspectors. All items on the report need to be completed. The property is then cleared as free from active infestation or infection. After that a yearly notice will be sent out with a contract to be signed by the owner with a small fee, generally starting around $200.00. Once we have received payment for the year we will send the inspector out again to do a complete inspection again. If any treatment is needed we will make arrangements for that.
During the year if you have any concerns or see any possible termite activity, give us a call and we will come out as soon as we can.
Not covered under the policy is any wood replacement, fumigations, heat treatments, etc. If any of these need to be done, you will be given a report with a finding, recommendation, and a bid for us to complete the items.
